Hi, hey, hello. Thanks for stopping by! My name is Sami and I am a natural light and lifestyle photographer specializing in weddings and couples.

My love for photography came around in late middle school when I started being the obnoxious friend who took pictures.. all the time.. of everything and I had bulletin boards full of pictures all over my room. I was gifted my first dsrl when I was 17, and that camera was with me through my first few weddings.

I love Jesus, dogs, and coffee.  It’s a toss up between my favorite weather being sunny and chilly or 75 degrees. I am about 95% extroverted and 5% introverted and most of the time my nails are painted black. I love deep conversation and sitting outside by fires. I will always say yes to pizza or Mexican. I am an ENFP to my core and I always binge watch the same tv shows because it takes a lot to get me to focus on something new without being distracted. I am overly obsessed with essential oils and at any given time someone will tell me I smell like oils and I have zero shame.

I fully believe I am in this industry because the Lord placed me here and instilled a passion for documenting life's most important moments while getting to genuinely connect and build relationships with people.

My goal as a photographer is to tell your stories and capture moments that go by so quickly. You can capture a second in time in a photograph and to me that is SO cool. I’m pretty non-traditional, and I don’t want your wedding to be a series of things you feel as though you have to do to please other people. I want your day to be about you and your story. I want to be your photographer but more importantly I want to be your friend. I never want a wedding day to feel like a business transaction. I promise i'll fix your hair and fluff your dress and probably (okay definitely) cry with you, too. I want to celebrate your day with you and be your friend.
