I’ll start by saying I went to camp at Glorieta several summers ago with Frontline Church and had wanted to go back ever since so when a mutual friend recommended me to photograph a wedding in New Mexico AT camp, I was so down. My friend Payton and I made the drive on a Friday afternoon, settled ourselves in and of course went to find the closest local pizza place. A friend of mine picked us up that morning and gave us a total camp tour and we explored around for a few hours before heading back to get ready for the wedding. Sally and Hunter’s families welcomed us in so well and made us feel more like friends (I mean, they even had spots for us at a table with guests to eat dinner). The weather was awesome despite the torrential downpour that happened briefly RIGHT as they said “I do.” But the skies cleared and they had the best summer reception weather as people danced and sat by fires and enjoyed each others company. Sally and Hunter met at camp, work at camp so it was only fitting they got married there as well. It was such a special day and i’m honored I was chosen to document it!
