Being a wedding photographer is the greatest joy and being able to capture literal seconds in time and preserve them forever is something I will never get over.
Over nearly a decade i’ve photographed over 250 weddings and can say with complete confidence that it’s the best job in the world.
I’m Sami Strong, a wedding photographer based in Oklahoma City with over nine years of experience documenting weddings across Oklahoma and beyond. I’ve photographed more than 250 weddings, working with couples who value artistry, intention, and images that stand the test of time.
My love for photography runs deep, tracing back to middle school days filled with digital cameras and bedroom bulletin boards covered in photos of my life. In 2009, I received my first “nice camera,” and that’s where the journey began.
From intimate elopements to full-scale celebrations — which has shaped a calm, intuitive approach on wedding days. What started as an unexpected path quickly became my passion, and now I can’t imagine doing anything else. I believe wedding photography should feel effortless on the day and invaluable years later. I focus on honest moments, thoughtful composition, and allowing space for real emotion — rather than forcing trends or constant direction.
